We're becalmed again and making no progress. I haven't
seen Tremadog Bay as quiet as this. The forecast suggests some wind tomorrow but
we'll have to wait and see.
I'm on job creation at the moment to fill in some time.
That said, I have had to do some repairs on the mainsail battens. I managed to
break two against the lazy jacks but #4 was just a bit too short. It's
surprising what ideas you can come up with. Necessity is the mother of invention
after all.
The job creation bit was to hide or disguise some
redundant screw holes in the nav station area. So I've now got a place for
a protractor and a bespoke felt-tip pen holder. I just hope I don't lose 'the'
felt-tip pen otherwise I'll have to make another
holder.
