We have spent another day enjoying the island whilst we wait for a fair wind to take us on through the bridge.
A large Norwegian catamaran came in last night and left this morning, Richard helped them slip their lines. An hour or so later I was surprised to see them reappear and went to see them in. It was just a brief stop though. They had got part way down the gulf when they heard a forlorn meowing from the stackpack of their mainsail. When they investigated they found they had a stowaway from the island on board, so they turned around and brought it back. One grateful pussycat hopped ashore and promptly disappeared.
This afternoon a yacht called Gilly B came in astern of us. We recognised it as they also do a blog on Mailasail and have been travelling around the Evia Channel and the Sporades over the summer. As they have been travelling to places ahead of us we have been able to pick up a few useful passage tips from their blog which we were able to thank them for.
This evening the wind has kicked in a bit from the west so things are more like their usual windy self here.
