Monday 16th February – Cagliari

The weather was warm and sunny, with a cool but very light wind.  We were able to go for a wander without thermals and I even broke out the sunglasses.

This afternoon, as there was no wind, we took the genoa down and spent the afternoon with the repair tape rescuing the sacrificial strip that has sacrificed itself; we are trying to keep it going for another year before having it replaced.

Sarah invited us across to Cape to say ‘hello’ to her sister and children who are visiting for a few days and we were able to enjoy a glass of wine in the sun.  We then came back and tucked the genoa away in the sail bag as we won’t be needing it for a while.

After dinner we went over to Wandering Dragon for a game of scrabble – I had a good night and won for a change.
