Sunday 13^th June – Khania, Crete

Today has been a day of rest after yesterday’s half marathon down the Samaria gorge.  Richard admits he has aching shins from the descent too.  We have been ashore a couple of times for a walk around Khania to ensure that our legs don’t seize up. 

There have been quite a number of ribs/power boats racing outside the harbour; we have discovered there has been a competition running yesterday and today.  This afternoon they held a prize giving ceremony just along the quay from us.
