Saturday 25^th September – Messolonghi (Rain)

This morning it rained heavily so today was declared a rest day.  The P’s enjoyed another day on board with books and watching the comings and goings in the marina. 

Mid afternoon the weather cheered up a bit so we went for a drive down to the beach but no-one felt like a swim as it still looked a bit grey, the beach itself was deserted.

Late afternoon Dad, Richard and Gavin went for a beer at one of the nearby tavernas by the port quay whilst I prepared food onboard for the BBQ.

When they came back Richard lit the Cobb and we had a BBQ before popping round to Blue Elephant for a game of rummy, there being too many of us for cribbage.  Late evening we came back to Pyxis.
