Today it rained and so I sat in the cockpit enclosure and read whilst Richard did some internet stuff up at the hotel.

During one of the dry spells I took the jacket for the cafetiere to Anne to see if she could mend it – she replaced the velcro on it as it was loose.  She used her sewing machine so it looks good as new – she has a sewing machine with her on her trip whereas I don’t know one end of a needle from the other, so I was grateful for her help.

This evening Stephen and Anne came round with a DVD to watch on our TV – we drank several bottles of wine so the less said about that the better!
