Mykonos (Have we mentioned it is windy?)

Sunday 22nd May – Mykonos (Have we mentioned it is windy?) 37:27.872N 25:19.524E
We ran out of displacement activities and tackled the flow meter on the water maker today. The meter is cloudy making it difficult to see the flow level bubble. To clear it we had to pull out the saloon cushions to get to the water maker and then disconnect the pipes to the membrane so that we could flush the flow meter with an acid solution. We kept putting acid through for an hour or so and then let it sit with acid in it until the afternoon. It is a bit clearer now and we can see the flow level bubble but it’s still not crystal clear. We will try it and see.
Needless to say, the wind has continued to howl and there have been a number of courageous berthing manoeuvres again; the Meltemi seems to have started early this year and shows no signs of abating.
The daily turnover of cruise liners visiting has also continued…
