Vilamoura

Saturday 16th February – Vilamoura 37:04.567N 8:07.191W
Today we were up early and straight on with jobs after breakfast.
I worked through the rest of the washing – it was a big pile! However, it was another good drying day. Though well-sheltered here in the marina, we have still been getting some of the strong easterly winds that had been forecast, necessitating lots of extra clothes pegs to keep the washing on the line (and Richard assigned to clothes watch during the stronger gusts J).
Whilst we are in the marina we won’t be running the water maker, so Richard gave it a flush through with fresh water to remove the salt-water, this should mean we are OK for up-to 10 days before we need to run it again.
We have also reprovisioned Pyxis today – we picked up some heavy items locally and then Richard cycled over to Quarteira to the fish market and the larger supermarket for fresh fish and meat supplies.
This evening we are creating home-made pizza.
