Puerto Sherry
Friday 11th April – Puerto Sherry 36:34.792N 6:15.255W
The weather has improved; it’s no longer raining cats and dogs but the wind remains blustery and strong at times. The swell in the bay has eased from yesterday but when I was at the harbour wall taking a look, I saw the ferry on its way to Cadiz giving the passengers a bouncy ride.
Today we have worked on Pyxis – completing the cleaning and repacking of the galley (now we know what we have but can no longer find it), and general maintenance on the engine and water-maker.
Richard went into town to re-stock on sherry (when in Spain… J) – there is a Bodega in town which sells it direct from the cask in 1 litre plastic bottles – whilst I cooked dinner (home made Cornish pasty for Richard and vegetable pasty for me).
This evening it’s a DVD and early night, hoping for a quiet night from the wind.
