The weather today was cloudy and cool, only around mid twenties. 

We did a few jobs around the boat; Richard re-stowed the galley whilst I failed to catch fish on the pontoon and then I did some washing.

Late this afternoon when we were on deck, Richard spotted a problem with the vang; the split pin securing the pin at the bottom had sheared and the pin (which secures the vang to the mast) was part way out.  Fortunately it was a simple job to fix (having borrowed a split pin of the right size from Cape as the ones from the chandlery were too big) but we are glad it hadn’t come away under sail at sea.

This evening I cooked Chinese for a change (we’ve cooked Italian since we arrived) and we watched a DVD.
