Friday 25^th June – Khania, Crete

This morning the wind had eased but had been replaced by heavy cloud and some rain.  With thunderstorms featuring on the forecast we were staying put, though fortunately none appeared here. 

None of the yachts left today; however the tripper boats have ventured out again though the outer harbour is still a bit rolly.

We have had a day sorting out various maintenance items aboard – the cooker, the forward heads, and some sticking hinges – as well as giving the heads a good scrub and the cabins a good vacuum.

One lone boat ventured in this evening and is safely tucked up in the space between us and the Swedish boat after a long day at sea.
