Today we were up and tackling a few more jobs.
After some letter writing practice this morning, Richard headed off to the chandlery to get some shock-cord for securing my new design of mossie-net to the hatches, and then had a route-march to the nearest shop to find some bread for lunch.
After lunch he grabbed short break sunbathing with a book before starting on servicing the engine. Pyxis is now enjoying some fresh oil in the gearbox, a clean raw water filter and new fuel filters. It was quite a challenge given the heat in the back cabin and the wash from the motor-boats.
As ever I helped by putting my book down and passing the kitchen roll each time he shouted J
This evening, having repacked everything back into the aft cabin, we have relaxed in the cockpit watching the new moon again across the bay.
