This morning I did a bit of washing whilst Richard took the trolley for an extended walk into town for a few supplies from the supermarket.
The wind started to build and I had to stop washing as it looked like it might blow away, despite additional pegs.
This afternoon the wind reached 33 knots in the marina and it is very noisy, whistling around the rigging and we even have some chop on the water. Richard has doubled up on our bow and spring lines as we are sailing around our berth.
We went for a walk to the beach but were getting sand-blasted so headed back through the edge of town to the marina.
The wind continues this evening and we are thinking we may not get much sleep tonight.
