Vi forlot Jolly Harbour og Harmony og John's hus/
kai kl 0800. Stort av Kapteinen å få mannskapet opp, etter at de ble vekket kl
0400 da brannalamren startet. Mye regn og fuktighet var nok grunnen til
levenet.
Vår plan var å seile til St.Kitts. Det ble
motorseiling hele vegen, men godt med strøm gjorde at vi var fremme på 6,5
timer på 49 nm mil. Columbus kom her før oss, da han tilfeldigvis kom forbi her
i 1493, så han var nok litt før oss, ja.
Jeg har hatt mange innskjekkinger, men ingen som
denne. Så vennlige byråkrater har jeg aldri møtt. Alle SMILTE og ønsket oss
velkommen. Tror St. Kitts er en fin og koselig øy. som vi skal utforske i
morgen.
We left Jolly Harbour and John and Harmony's
house/berth at 08.00 this morning. A good job that the Captain got his crew up,
becauce the fire alarm wnt off at 4.00. Probably due to much humidity and rain
during the night.
We planned to sail to St. Kitts. Had to motorsail
the whole way, but the current helped us and we did 49,1 NM in 6,5 hours.
this island, as well. Chrisofher Columus came here before us, when he
occationally passed by in 1493. So he was here a bit before us,
yes....
I have done many checking in, but the one here
is the most convenient one. These buricrates were very smiling and so nice and
wished us all welcome to St. Kitts. Think this is an island we will like and
tomorrow we will have a look at it.
