Så er 3 uker over og vi har sagt farvel til Petter
og familie. Det har vært fantastiske dager med bading, snorkling, stuping og
annen akrobatikk i sjøen. Både Eirin og Iver svømmer som fisker og lille Henrik
er ikke langt unna, men må fortsatt ha vest på seg, med et langt tau, slik at
ikke strømmen tar han. Nå er det stille i båten. Rart- og vi savner dem
allerede.
Etter Barbuda seilte vi til en oase for badeliv og
snorkling, nemlig Green Island. Gjett om vi koste oss, store og
små.
Etter Green Island dro vi hit til English Harbour
og la oss til i marinaen, Nelson Dockyard. Men det var så varmt og vindstille,
så dagen etter la vi oss ut på bukta her, der vi kan hoppe i sjøen med det samme
vi åpner øynene.
Det har faktisk vært en varmebølge og veldig lite
vind den tiden Petter og fam. har vært her, så vi har da fått ut
svetten.....
Søndag var vi på karibisk grillfest på Sherley
Hights, der vi koste oss til steeband orkester og god mat og
drikke.
Men nå er de reist heim til kalde Norge. Et
temperaturskille på ca 40...
Nå venter vi på nytt besøk, da Per Arne og Kirsti
kommer på fredag. Så er også Owe og Greta (svenske venner) i området, så vi blir
da ikke alene.
Three weeks are gone and we have just said goodbye
to Petter and fam. So many days with joy and happyness, swimming, snorkeling and
diving. Eirin and Iver are vey good swimmers and little Henrik loves to be in
the sea, as well, but is in his lifejacket with a long string tied to it. The
current can easy take him away.
Now the boat is quiet and we miss them
already.
We went to Green Island after Barbuda and there is
the place for enjoing life in the sea. Many nice reefs to snorkel on and Eirin
and Iver are like adults concerning this activity.
Now we are in English Harbour. First we stayed in
the marina, Nelson Dochyard, but the weather has been awful warm and no wind, so
the next day we went out in the woe and anchored. Here we can jump in the sea
just after our morning tea..
Just got a text from Petter. All went well through
custom and he was happy to get into his jeans..... We miss them and wish them a
good and safe trip home.
Friday Kirsti and Per Arne are coming and will stay
for a forthnigth. Owe and Greta (Sweedish friends in Mayflower II) are in the
area, so we will have good fun. So are John and Harmoy, our good Canadian
friends and we will not be on our own.
