Vi har nå seilt litt rundt Antigua. Torsdag kom vil
til ei lita øy som heter Long Island. Vi gikk på land, det var mange fine
villaer å se, men lite folk. Kun arbeidere. Vi lå inne i ei bukt
og hadde utsikt til villaer i strandsona med
svømmebaseng og 10 m til sandstranda.
Fredag kom tre andre norske båter, Tempest, Saga
Tiba og Pigalopp. Værmeldinga sier mer vind idag så vi besluttet å seile videre
til Green Island.
Ei lita øy, med tett vegitasjon og små
sandstrender. Her fant vi nett og vi blir liggende her til mandag.
Da seiler vi tilbake til English Harbour og venter
på Per Arne og Kirsti. Det gleder vi oss til.
We have now been sailing around the island of
antigua. Thursday we ancered in a lovely bay- Jumbo Bay on Long Island. We had a
long walk around very posh houses, with their own small beach and
swimmingpools.
The weather says lkots of wind from north and after
two lovely days in Jumbo Bay, we sailed on to this even more lovely Green
Island. The sea was quite jumpy and wind strong, but we managed
perfectly well and will stay in this bay till
Monday. We even found net here!! And I think we also found our
paradise-island here. So green and lush. Water green and warm and the little
beach up here is really nice.
