Wind: 18kts 295˚m

Last night we had no wind and a glassy calm sea.  It was so calm Mary watched DVDs on deck during her night watch.

The wind filled in from the west this morning and veered and strengthened to 18kts as we passed a weak cold front.  The sea is quite lumpy but we are sailing well with one reef in the main and full headsails.  We’re psyching ourselves up for our passage into the low pressure system sitting over Bermuda.

Luckily we managed to have quick shower this morning before it got too rough so all is well on Stella as we start beating our way towards Bermuda.
