We decided to make a dash for France as we saw a break in the weather.   We are currently mid channel with 25kt of wind on the beam and a big sea.  I’ve only got a few minutes whilst we’re between the shipping lanes so this will have to be a short update.  Sir Humphrey (the Hydrovane windvane self steering) is in control on deck and doing a splendid job at keeping us going in a straight line.

Sorry there’s no photos, but it’s a little rough to be playing around with the camera, and the magic AIS box tells me I’m going to have to dodge a ship in a 30 mins!
