Well after a hectic two weeks preparing and provisioning the boat and much socialising it is finally time to go. The official start is at 13.00 today.

We have had a brilliant time here and made loads of new friends but are now itching to get going.

We have been a bit busy for blogging whilst here but hopefully should resume regular updates once we get underway. We will report our position every day or so but we also have an automatic satellite position tracker which will give our position 4 times per day at 12.00, 06.00 etc via the ARC website. www.worldcruising.com/ARC

We will hopefully fill in a few more details later but must get on with final preparations now
