We arrived into St Georges in Bermuda this morning at 0900h  having motored for the final 80 miles as the wind died.   We had to stand off the entrance to the channel through Town Cut for an hour to allow a 950ft cruise ship to enter the channel, but it gave us chance to tidy the boat and have showers.

We moored up at the customs dock to clear in and then moved to moor alongside Bavarian Spirit who arrived on Tuesday.  There are a few other boats we know here so it should be fun.

Shortly afterwards Alan’s friend Stephen and family arrived on their jet ski to say hello so we had a lovely welcome to Bermuda.

We sailed 885mn versus the rhum line distance of 861nm, so we managed a fairly direct course.  Our average speed was 5.46kts and we had to motor for 52 hours.

We’re now looking forward to relaxing for a day before we start exploring the Island which so far looks lovely.
