Hi Folks,

The weekly monolog continues ... I guess you are all in for another sh*t summer with all that
debris being blasted up into the sky, I guess all those religious (doom merchents) will be loving
this one, quoting Revelations, the seven plagus and all that ... not seen any placard carrying
guys about wellington but I bet Hyde Park corner is busy, although with an election looming
the Torys and Labradors must have been glad it happened, I watched the debate down here
and the Wig seemed to put on a better performance than the nervey school boy who twitched
alongside the Iron Chancelor, lost his rep there a bit I think since his mate Tony jumped ship
and all his banking mates lost the plot, whilst there fat pay checks remained the same the
poor old trolls took the can for it as usual, I must be missing something but the old eco cycle
goes around and the folowing generations get caught every time .

News from down under is slightly better, with Oz booming with its sales of minerals and food
products to the China, the kiwis are selling off greats tracts of land for dairy farming to them,
the theory is that they cant take it with them ! I susspect that our oriental freinds will be farming
by day and minning by night, as we have a ban on mineral extraction at the moment, but I think
our new Tory government has other ideas, the watch word is enviromentaly freindly mineing !
Its a well kept secret that in clean green NZ the open cast mineing of coal is kept well under
wraps, it a throw back to the old days when the brits dumpt the Ozys and Kiwis when they
joined the EEC, the result of this was basicly leaving us all down here holding the baby, as the whole
economy was geared to feeding mother England, in desperation to get some money in to the
coffers they did a deal with the Japs, they new thay had them over a barrel and the goverment
at the time signed up to a deal which ment we had to deliver the coal to the dock and fill there
ships, all acociated costs to NZ, and a fixed price for 50 years ...... nice one Japan..
Never mind they did the same to the UAE in the Gulf when I worked there with natural
gas, it seems now that Japan and China are buying up farm land and companies all over
the world and trying to secure there food supplies for the future.
Anyway thats my rant for the week, Im off to Fiji next Tuesday, by the time I get back the
UK elections will be over , its a close one and if Mr Clegg whopps the other two in the
next few debates you might even have a yellow priminister >>>>>>>>>
