Penultimate Day
Yo Bloggers
Well its now a count down to beer time , the
bottles have been marshalled into the fridge and the ice cubes are in the
freezer , the fridge looks remarkably full still .. Ruth is the Ti Toche today ,
bacon butties for lunch yummy ..
As My chefs duties have now drawn to a close
I will reflect on what influence these TV chefs books have had on me .. the
Cradock's goes without saying as being a bit "Fish pie " at times , but I have
recently discovered the " Domestic Goddesses book , how to cook the Lawson way ,
I do hope once I have digested all the info that it doesn't turn out like her
Dads books ( Nigel ) over cooked ! and in the brown stuff , mind you she's a lot
better looking than her Dad , I missed all her programs on the TV , away at work
in some godforsaken desert or ocean, but Lyn says She definitely made cooking up
the evening grub more pleasing to the male eye than Anthony Wirral Thompson
,although I do believe they share the same bust size ! dread the thought
..
Everybody is counting down the hrs and miles to
downing the hook in Hiva Oa , Atuona bay and the crack becomes more intense as
to who thinks they have the days correct , Rob has a smirk on his face and
thinks he's going to get the correct day ! has he been in the envelope I
wonder he's too confident by far !
And its over to Rob ..
Look out Chris I think there may be a few celebrity
chef's lawyers out to knobble you for liable.
The parker brigade have been on my case again, but
appear to have shot themselves in the foot , describing the machine of there
dreams as a comfortable secure armchair with a storage bin underneath this
conjure up visions of some sort of motorized council wheelie bin with a dralon
sofa stuck on top , I rest my case !
Just like Noah and the dove, we have been seeing a
few frigate birds this morning, a sign we are nearing land. But all in all
the ocean has been fairly devoid of wild life which is a bit
disappointing. Flying fish have been the only think we have seen a lot of,
and found a few most mornings on the deck. Luckily we haven't had a repeat
of previous voyages where they came down through the hatch and landed in
bed. Yuk very fishy smell and loads of scales. I'm off now for bacon
butties on fresh baked bread. Brill.
Hey we have just spotted a ship, we are not alone
after all.
Hungry Rob Out.
