Dear All,
We are here at last , after creeping down between
the isle of Cristobel and Santa Cruz we crept in to Academia bay at 10 o/c local
time , very tight anchorage with the SE swell coming into the bay , well you all
know me , belt and braces the two CQRs out fwd , plus the fortress out aft , its
a tight as a drum with the boats parked really close theirs no swing room at all
, Zephyr seems to be sitting ok in the swell that plows into the bay , glad we
are thirty tons and not plastic fantastic bobbing up and down like a few around
us .
We have used an agent here for all our trips ,
immigration and port dues , so far they have been very efficient , fuel
tomorrow , all immigration and port dues soughed , whilst we soughed the boat
out , plan is to cram as many trips and tours in as we can before we set of for
the Marquises , its a one in a life time trip and I don't want to be running
around doing fuel , and all the immigration pot things like I did in Panama ,
there time was on our side , here its not as we are running late by one month
and have to push on to the Marquises as soon as practicable possible
.
Fishing news , yesterday Rob caught a 5
kilo tuna , enough for four four place meals , yum yum .
The tired crew , after a long daY IN THE OFFICE ,
ITS HOLIDAY TIME FOR A WEEK !
