Hi Folks,

Back on the trail again after a wonderful ten days in the Galapagos Islands,it took us the best part of yesterday to get the boat ready and lift our anchors , we were really stuck to the sea bed , the first one was in the rocks so that was a dive to lift it out , the second aft anchor was driven in so deep , about two feet below the sand that we couldn't prize it off the bottom , I went down and tried to dig it out without much success .. in the end we got one of the taxi boats to do it , it was the best 10 bucks spent for a 600 buck chain and anchor , never mind it kept us pinned in location in a swell ridden anchorage .
Back to the coal face as they say, slow start with head winds so we turned on the iron head sail and motored out beyond the island to pick up favourable winds , which we now have and hope they remain , all is well onboard , with Lyn and Rob tripping as usual on there sea sick tabs , dinned on roasted pork rib's and beans last night so that's probably why the winds up this morning ..

Sad to leave the Galap but another adventure awaits ..

The Crew all toured out ...
