Hi Folks,
Well my pc troubles are over, I have biten the
bullet and bought a new one, slight problem is that I wanted it with
Windows XP and now we only have Win 7, I wont bore you with the details but you
can downgrade Win 7 to XP what they dont tell you is that there are no drivers
to start things up, a few nights of head scratching and I adventualy got on line
and found all the bits to get it going, I have a few more bits to put on but Im
up and running basicly ....
Whats been going on since the last entry, we have
rented out the top flat and they moved into today, the outside is going well,
still finding the odd bit of rot in the weather boards and then its all stop,
chop it out and move on, we only have about 6 m2 to go, as we only planned
to do the internals and wait for the summer for the outside , but the boss
pressed on and started with the intention of only doing the back ... wrong I
should have known better !
Anyway the bottom flat has still got bits to do and
it will have wait unitl the new year when we get back with the boat to
wellington before we get the other one
rented out.
I have also had the dreaded dental
apointments two one and a half hr sesions of ultra sonic deep de scailing , ten
shots of pain killer comenly known as a local ... glad it all over, now I have
to wait for three months for the second looksee and the experts opinion on how
they are going to straighten out my front wobbly tooth , storys of removal and
metal implants into my jaw has my pooper twitching already I hope it can be done
with scafoling instead .
A monumentas night out at the NZ All whites
qualified for the world cup , the crowd were great , everybody got into the
spirit of things and came all dressed in white, I dont think the statium has
rocked as much since AC/DC played there, the poor old Barainies jetted in in the
privet jet from Sydney the day before, they went from 30 deg to 10 deg in two
hrs and a howling southerly, that plus there 600 supporters in the cnr beeing
completly drowned out by the kiwis, half of whom didnt have a clue what all the
shouting was about, aparently its not the done thing at a rugger match
.
The photo's are on hold until I get the soft were
loded but Im glad the hard bit of getting back on line is over ..
Oh yes, the coast guard is going well and all my
intro coursed have been completed, so I will be shortly moving to active duty !
soon ..
All the best from Wellywood and Peter J
