Strangers in the night again .. a repeat of an old
favourite .

O what a night ... our sentinel watch keeper Rob "
Galactic watchguardian and star gazer" , was asleep in the cockpit where
he says its much cooler ! was awoken by the sound of slapping water ... he
looked up and saw a similar size vessel alongside us , came down and woke
me . we all went on deck , adventualy found the fog horn and
spot light and started blasting and flashing lights at him , they adventualy
awoke and scrambled on deck , we all went back to bed , awoke for the big day of
the Admesure , got all the fenders and gear on deck for the inspection and
waited , looking across at the boat who had drifted by last night it seemed to
be on the move again ... agg this time though the owners had gone ashore ,
called Ike on Rhythm as our boat had also gone ashore , got out the kedge
anchor , its becoming a habit , chain and rope , Ike and Dan picked us up
, by now it was heading for a large nice and shinny 70ft yacht , we go aboard
and let out the rest of the chain adventualy it caught after 250ft of chain was
dispatched to the sea bed , the owners came back as Rob and Ruth had found them
ashore , we new the couple who we had chatted to in the Yacht club bar a few
times , they were extremely grateful and thanked us , hope there getting the
next round in the bar tonight ....

is flying out for the bash tomorrow night , Lyn is preparing big eats, she said
enough to fill his buns will be on the table , I don't know what she means
! !
