Hi Folks,
Today we depart for Nuku'alofa, our last anchorage
before we leave for NZ, the first of the yachts from our known friends have left
for the Bay of Islands, Timoria a kiwi yacht , hope there main holds together ,
Lyn put it back together bast she could, but it has seen better days and has one
more trip in it if the winds don't get up over 30 knts she says.
We are picking up our fifth member Trevor on
Saturday in Nuku'alofa , then will clear out Monday and wait for the right
moment to plunge off the end of the world , or at least out of the tropics and
down south to an antipadian spring , hope its a warm one .
We have heard mixed stories about Nuku'alofa
so it will be interesting to see if rumour is near fact ! bit like Tahiti
everybody on the rumour mill said it wasn't a nice place but it turned out to be
the opposite of all that gossip .
Well I got up a six to write this one as we will
all be busy readying for sea in an hrs time, so will report in tomorrow with new
location and our short journeys tales , had our last lunch in the Mariners Cafe
and our last dive on a wonderful reef yesterday to complete a pleasant stay in
this part of Tonga .
