So this is us sitting in the deep blue .the waves
are on our bum , as you can see by my terminology we have degenerated in to a
salty lot this is lyn by the way so I do have a few words regarding mother
duties the boys are doing a great job and really girls we cant have that so I'm
giving them harder things to cook .so when they come home keep the good
work up and they may get a job as a super cook on T V .

The wind is pushing us along at a speed that is
keeping morale high. Only one small cloud however and that is the smug
sastisfaction in the bearing of the second skipper and the coms officer who
logged the best milage on their watch early this morning and refuse to
acknowledge the contribution made by the entertainments officer and the human
washboard(See below)/engeneering officer who in tossing seas laboured to
trim the sails to match the wind, sea and course until they were near to perfect
on handover. This provided some friendly if extravagantly outrageous
argument over the breakfast porridge. Roger threw himself manfully
into the companionway opening when a brief but heavy shower struck the boat in
an attempt to protect persons and belongings below. As a result of this heroic
action he has been promotred with the new tiltle "the human
washboard"
Can report all crew in fine form with the banter
given and taken with vigour and good humour and all easily
entertained.
