Sunday 12th November

 

The wind increased over night as the trade winds kicked in.  We have been travelling directly south whilst we have this ENE wind as we know we will be able to go east again in a couple of days.  If the wind stayed as it is for the next few days we could go directly to Antigua on this heading.  But, of course the weather is not going to stay like this,  Tomorrow  into Tuesday the wind will begin to move to the south.  We have just been speaking to another rally boat on the evening SSB net who have just seen a big wind shift to the south east, so maybe we will see that too.

 

We think we should be in Antigua by the end of the week.  Boats that left on Thursday 2nd November will begin arriving on Tuesday and as we are 3 days behind then our eta should be Friday. We will see...
