Daily run: 64 miles
The distance of 64 miles in the last 24 hours is the least to date, but today the wind has picked up to 12 knots. However, the growth under the boat is now so thick, that our speed has difficulty exceeding 4.5 knots. Nevertheless, the sound of swooshing water washing through the growth under the boat gives us the comfortable feeling that we are making progress. It is another cloudless day with the sun directly overhead. We have the bimini up and are enjoying clear skies, clean air and the occasional false alarm of the fishing reel. We have not caught anything yet although the sea is teaming with flying fish and bigger ones jumping about from time to time.
