Grenada proved to be friendly and gentle, perhaps the best of the Windward Islands we have been to and having explored the island from top to bottom including spending half a night watching turtles laying eggs, we were a little sad to go. The forecast for an overnight passage to Trinidad looked favourable and having put two reefs in the sails, we set off at 6pm from Port Louis in Grenada to use a 20-knot wind to get us along at a good speed towards Trinidad. As we approached the Trinidadian coast, the wind lost its strength, but had enough puff to blow us into Chaguaramas by 9 o'clock in the morning.

Trinidad marks the end of my voyage from England and with it my BLOG. Luna Quest will be laid up for the hurricane season, which ends in November, but followers of my BLOG may be in for surprise in December when Luna Quest will be back in commission for new adventures and a BLOG enhanced by HD photographs.

Thank you all for reading my BLOG so far.
