Noon Position: Falmouth Harbour Marina

Daily Run: 130 miles (estimated)

I have had to estimate the last daily run as manoeuvring in the harbour caused an electrical fault on the system, knocking out half my equipment sand sending alarms ringing that I had not heard before and which added to the excitement. Trying to find a place to tie up in the harbour I found near impossible. The place is full of super yachts and the pontoons far too high for Luna Quest. There is not a marina in the sense that we know of them in the UK. Luckily, a couple of guys spotted my predicament and offered to come on aboard to help. With their help and that of the harbourmaster's rubber dinghy, we manoeuvred Luna Quest in a tight spot, next to a 80 footer whose dinghy slips out of the stern door, the size of which compares well with that of Luna Quest.

Directly after being tied up, I set off for the immigration office in English Harbour, by which time I was beginning to feel very tired and extremely hungry. After completion of formalities, I descended on the nearest restaurant and had the most wonderful chicken wrap with a passion fruit drink.
