Brindabella's Web Diary

I had my grumpy head on this morning! I had a really busy day
planned but woke with a colossal headache and a stiff neck. If I’d
crossed several jobs off the list by 10am, I’d promised myself a break
for the history walking tour of Hamilton with the very jovial town
crier; that didn’t happen! Round two of the provisioning was scheduled
for today as well but there was no way I could cope with that. I
reshuffled my weekly plan and in the end had a most productive day
with Brindabella now looking clean and tidy and a mountain of
ingredients measured for baking before and during the next leg.
I took a break early evening and walked along Front Street where
the weekly ‘Harbour Nights’ street party was being held. It really is
such a treat being in the centre of town with everything only minutes
away. A live band played music that put a spring in your step, or had
you dancing and the street was a sea of smiling faces. Stalls sold
local crafts and artwork and I stopped and chatted to the artist who
had painted the massive and intricate, history of Bermuda mural in the
stairwell of the National Museum. I felt thoroughly revitalised after
my time out and started the last few loads of laundry before another
very late night making use of the internet.
