FISH! This morning Stinkville just reeked of fish: Well that and fumes from the refinery of course. We wasted no time in departing and had slipped our lines by 6.45am. Pollution had settled and a very grubby Brindabella had a long day ahead of her. The coastline has become much flatter now and with the mist it wasnt long before there was little to see. We were some way offshore.

We enjoyed a decent wind for some time but then the wind died. There was little to do with the light winds so it was an ideal time to listen to an audio book of the British Empire. What a treat to have the time. As seems characteristic of this coast we lost the wind again until its late afternoon burst then the mist lowered. We started our gammon joint for dinner en-route with egg, beans and oven chips.

Visibility entering Figueira da Foz (AKA Fig Foz) at night was poor and our four eyes scanned for dangers. It must have been around 10pm before Simon had checked out of the harbour police office and we were all tied up further into the marina amongst multinational boats.
