Sunday 21st February (Lini’s Journal)

Beautiful Brindabella.
Seeing my painting in daylight I regretted painting last night in poor light as my sky is a nice shade of green! Doh!! Never mind, I tried, and spent an hour or so finishing off my trees this morning. It’s a bit big for a birthday card so I’ll just have to wrap it up or hang it on the wall for him. Toys away it was back to work, hand washing clothes while the marina machine washed the sheets. I feared we’d lose the lot off the lines with the wind picking up. The rest of the polishing took up most of the afternoon; the remainder spent rubbing some of the silicon out of the textured gelcoat where the solar panel was. Brindabella is now shining like a new pin and looks fabulous. With the wind and spray I know she’ll be salt encrusted soon though. I am now rapidly running out of time for sewing jobs so will have to prioritise my list. A guy wouldn’t want to arrive back with no birthday cake now would he? I tried in vane to contact Si and spent the evening blogging and emailing in favour of dominoes night in the bar. I hope the loud music and screaming DJ from the town will not finish too late.
