Enough is enough we decided and upped anchor for Union Island to clear out of customs then move down to Grenada where medical services are much better. It was time to see why I am not fighting fit after five days. I rang my sister to ask if she would call my doctor and it was strongly suggested I get myself checked over: Fancy having to leave paradise with so much still to see. At least though we’ll be able to see all the things we’ve missed when we return north. Of course I was feeling immediately lots better as we stopped briefly at Clifton then sailed onto Carriacou: We thought it a little too far to get to Grenada in one hit. Several twinges and gripes along the way plus a chat to my insurance company confirmed we were doing the right thing.

With the wind gusting six knots it looked like being another blowy night as we anchored off the town of Hillsborough. Si bounced ashore to check us in with customs for the islands of Grenada, then as the sun slowly lowered through the rest of the afternoon in a cloudy sky, the wind picked up even more.
