A quick clear up and frantic moving of mattresses started the day ready for our check up from the Hallberg Rassy staff. I set off to place my vegetable order and buy even more provisions. The area Si has given me in the bilges is much larger than I thought and with milk extremely expensive in St. Lucia I’m trading boat weight for monetary savings later. By the time I returned the steering was tightened and other checks were being made. With so much happening the blog is taking up a fair amount of time but it will be lovely to look back later and relive this experience. It is also giving me a short time quite regularly to reflect on all the wonderful times we are having and count my blessings. It was mid afternoon by the time I resumed boat jobs.

It was bad timing to do laundry this afternoon. No sooner had I finished, the skies darkened and down came the rain. With gusty winds we brought down the flags for the night and for the first time in ages we ate dinner down below. Si also went through sourcing weather reports via the internet with me. A great deal of time was spent before bed sorting tasks onto lists for our last few days here. My mind was racing all through a wild and windy night.
