Title: The coast everybody passes quickly

40:08.85N 08:51.59W
Overnight in Figuera da Foz. We now see why our new Imray pilot book says most people pass the West coast quickly: just one long stretch of sandy beaches today on what can be a tough Atlantic coast with few sheltered harbours. Hardly any wind made for a long motor leg of 9 hours. Einar takes time to find his sea legs again it seems, but got better after a few hours. Even homework underway today for everybody. Still an adjustment after a a playful time ashore with their friends.
Tonights port in a growing tourist town.
Statistically almost impossible and unplanned, we have sailed with another Swedish boat all day - now next to us in port. A Hallberg Rassy (of course) and owner from Fjellbacka....Noticeably more Scandinavians now in the last two ports who always are surprised with Norwegians under Swedish flag. We ended up registering in Sweden for simplicity which is turning out also easier for clearing etc as an EU boat.
