It was a short downhill run to Dingle but “Funghi” was too busy with the tripper boats to greet “Moonbeam”. A friendly reception at the marina was typical of our stay in Dingle. Watching the weather forecast it gave us 4 or 5 days of very strong winds then a day and a half of light wind then the cycle repeated itself. We enjoyed plenty of walking plus the music in the pubs, the fresh fish shop and excellent supermarkets meant excellent food aboard.
The forecast of strong N/NW meant it was 6 days before we headed away with the promise of southerly winds.
We liked Dingle very much but it was a pity that we were unable to hire a car to see more of the surrounding area.
As we left “Funghi” was once more being chased by the tripper boats but I presume the Dolphin which has resided in the Bay since 1984 could leave if it wanted to!
