Friday
A lovely sunny day so we took the rib over the river to Benodet and had a good look round. All very smartly kept and quite touristy and lots of houses presumably holiday homes with the shutters closed.

Saturday
Got up early to get a non existent bus to Quimper. Even the locals could not understand why there wasn't one! Took the dinghy across the river to the supermarket....spoilt for choice.
Moved off visitors berth up to finger berth alongside Enki IV.

Sunday
Dull today! Took the rib up the river for a couple of miles . Very attractive and some potential anchorage spots.

Had RCC drinks aboard "Moonbeam" then retired to "Salvation Jane" for supper.

Monday
Got up early to get the school bus at 06.55! Nearly missed it until waiting at the bus stop realised that the notice I was translating said that it was out of use due to road works so dashed up the road to the next stop. Even without the road works it seems strange that there should be a bus stop in a roundabout- strange but true! Arrived Quimper at 07.30 to discover that nothing happens there until 10.00! Had a good wander round the attractive old town then back on the midday bus.

Our walk back to Moonbeam just happened to take us past the "Moules" restaurant and as it is only open at lunchtime..............
