Unlike our visit in February we arrived at the Tobago Cays just after a
rough period and instead the wind was down and so was the sea.
![]() ![]() We spent 3 days anchored in this paradise, buying possibly the most
expensive croissants and banana bread in the world from the smiling gold toothed
‘boat-boy’ Walter and T-shirts from Mr. Quality who was there on our first visit
in 2001!
Sometimes we swam from the boat and sometimes we went to the beach to swim;
or sat and watched the turtles and rays swimming around ‘Moonbeam’. The 1.5
metre barracuda showed total disdain for the human snorkelers as we finned past
him exploring the reef.
