Cooper Island

Cooper Island was a lovely anchorage although we had to take a mooring. It was good to be out of the wind and the excellent Beach Club provided a very good birthday dinner for Lynn!

Then a long sail by BVI standards of 17 miles round to Cane Garden Bay on the West side of Tortola where we were delighted to find our Norwegian friends on “Paquita” and also Highland Fling- an RHYC member.

Leaving Cane Garden Bay.

Needless to say the red and green bouys were missing, taken away by the big northerly swells a few weeks ago. Keeping an eye from the bow you could see the reef in the way in so we followed our track out......Electronic charts not always accurate in the BVI’S!
