Sunday promised lighter winds so we headed out early afternoon through the Berehaven channel but the left over seas were large and confused so we motor tacked to Dursey Sound where we caught the tide under the cable car and were discharged into some lumpy conditions on the north side. We continued up to Sneem where we anchored behind Garinish Island; wooded and rocky we were reminded of Loch Moidart.
