Nothing much new to report! Weather is less clement but on the whole that means more speed and there is less chance of falling asleep on watch. It also means that the rest periods are less comfortable and sleep is harder to achieve so there is more chance of falling asleep on watch.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution has some inconsistencies; for instance if we continue to evolve how come that offshore sailors do not have 3 hands and a big suction pad at the waist which would hold them in their seat? If equipped life afloat would be much easier.

Our target of Bequia seems very real now and the miles are counting down - we hope to anchor early evening local time on Friday. If we can stay awake we will celebrate New Year UK time then Bequia time four hours later!
