Sines
Spent day walking and exploring and lunch
out.
![]() ![]() Friday
Left Sines at 6.30. Mixture of motoring and broad
reaching and dolphins with us for hours.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rounding the point the wind freshened and we had a
good reach into Sagres.
Arrived at Sagres 58.3 miles logged and
anchored off the beach.
![]() ![]() Saturday
Left Sagres about 08.30 as the swell had set in and
was uncomfortable.
Arrived at Lagos and checked into the marina for a
couple of nights.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sunday went for an earlyish morning walk and then
got stuck into boat jobs.
Removed the genoa to clean the sacrificial strip
after the dirt of 3 weeks ago and stipped down the Profurl reefing system to
check it all out and retension the forestay.
The temperature was so high we both used the water
pipe on the pontoon to cool down.
The plan is to leave Monday morning and sail a few
miles east to anchor off Portimao
