Swell and overfalls as we left Frenchport but the weather was dry, bright and clear and a broad reach and run at 6+ knots had us anchoring inside the visitor moorings near the lifeboat at Arranmore 12 hours later.

It was about 17 years since we visited Arranmore and we considered spending a day ashore but the next morning gave us low cloud and mist so we decided to push on.
