The weather forecast was pessimistic for Sunday evening and Monday with threats of severe thunder storms and lightening so we headed up to Camden and rented a mooring.

The small town is a popular tourist trap and there are some good shops with arts and crafts as well as the inevitable Tee shirt shops. We had also arranged to meet Drew Darling who kept his yacht “Nutmeg” at Ardfern about 10 years ago and we spent an enjoyable breakfast, morning and lunch with him catching up with gossip.

There are always schooners in Camden
