Friday 10th December -- La
Gomera
Franticish activity once we decided definitely to
leave in the morning. Some of the others reckon it would be a better wind if we
wait 4 days but we will go! We are all looking forward to getting away although
we will miss La Gomera and all the friends we have made. Christmas Day will be
at sea although Maitland is worried that Santa will not find us but I have told
him to we will call him from the satellite phone with a position. We may end up
calling at the Cape Verde Islands but we hope that we will not need more fuel,
diesel or cheese.
We will try and maintain the blog via the satellite
phone but it is dependent on our continuing to master the technology so it may
be irregular in it's frequency. On the basis that one bit of sea will look much
like another and there are photos of us all below you should not need any photos
either!
