Wednesday
Had a good explore of Fig Foz which is a very
relaxed town. Finished off the day in a restaurant that appears to be owned by
the local football club- all the fresh fish you can eat for 7.50 euros and wine
for 3 euros a litre!
Thursday
Despite the evening before we were up early and
caught the train to Coimbra- a university town 40km inland. A pleasant wonder
around the old town but surprising to see a beautiful old cloistered courtyard
overgrown with weeds and looking very uncared for.

and had a very enjoyable fun meal at a Cuban/Mexican
restaurant!
