It rained overnight but was dry again next day when we motored west to Adrigole but decided it was a bit barren so we pushed on to Lawrence Cove where we found space at the cosy marina where given the strong wind forecast and a plan to meet an Irish friend we decided to stay a few days.

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

On Friday we unfolded our bikes and took the short ferry ride to the mainland and cycled to Castletownbere where we enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Saturday was very windy so we took to the bikes again to explore the island followed by a great evening with John and Val.

 

Lawrence Cove is a very welcoming marina, Rachel was even spotted on the pontoons late into the evening checking everybody was ok!
